Hello,

As I sit here typing this, I am excited about the year ahead. 2011 was full of blessings, hard-ships, surgery and change. Some have wondered since we lost a member of Sof ,whether or not, we would seek to fill that position. We are open- minded and willing to pursue the possibility if God sends someone our way. Jan 14th is our first appointment for the year. This will be our first appearance as a duet since 2007.

We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind words and support as I have battled this illness. I am in a state of wellness since my last surgery and weight loss. My new Crohns medicine is working better than any other treatment so far. Thank you Jesus!

We are going into the studio on Feb 4th. to lay the tracks for our new project "In the Valley".We have some new songs that God has given to Josh and I know that they will be a blessing because they minister to us. Thank you to those of you who have partnered with us by pre-ordering. You are precious to us.

We will be attending SGM Fan Fair this year April 30th thru May 4th 2012. We will update you with our booth number as soon as we get it. Make your plans to attend Fan Fair in beautiful Pigeon Forge, Tn. Many artists perform daily.

Changes in S.o.F.

We have an announcement to make. Last weekend, Catrina made the decision to leave Shields of Faith . We will miss her as she leaves our group but we must move forward into the work that God has called each of us to do. We love Catrina and wish her Gods best. Thanks for all your support and prayers for Shields of Faith. Catrinas last date with SoF will be Oct 30th. We (Josh and I ) are still going into the studio with "In The Valley" target release Spring 2012. God bless you all

Hi from Shields of Faith. The Lord has really blessed us and opened doors that no man can shut. We stand in awe of His goodness toward us.

Update on my health: had a hearing today and was declared disabled due to my Crohns. I will recieve Medicaid and that is the biggest blessing. I praise God that He goes ever before me. I will have to have more surgery but I do not know when at this time. Please pray that God gives me the grace and strength to sing and witness for Him.

If you havent been on our website lately, please check it out to see if we are going to be in your area. Pray for us as we travel and share the Gospel in these last days. What a priviledge to serve Him.

Well, as many as you know, that the Spring has almost come upon us. The first official day of Spring is March the 20^th and we can’t wait. The Spring symbolizes so much for us, it reflects Christ resurrection and a fresh and new start from the dead of winter. The cold of winter can be tough for all but it just helps us to reflect from the past and blossom into the future. Shields of Faith is in a new chapter this year as we progress in the ministry. Every step we take further toward the goal the enemy tries to step in our way. Dana had developed another hernia just in the past month. The surgeon had to do a CT scan to determine what had exactly happen. So the conclusion to the scan was no doubt than another hernia that had to be repaired. We recently had a friend ask us why do singers and people that minister have so many problems with there health. My answer to this is this: (Romans 8:16) The spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God and if children then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ: if so that we “SUFFER” with Him. Most people don’t realize this, but it is a great honor to suffer for Christ it brings him all the glory that He deserves. We live in a cursed body that has been dying the moment we where born, and as long as we serve Christ, the devil will try to destroy us. God has all of the control and Satan cannot cross the bloodline. We have had family and friends tell us that we need to stop for a couple of months to rest, but my friend He didn’t stop in His ministry so we, too, have to be about the Father’s business. The ministry is staying busier than ever in the history of SOF and God has blessed us. He has kept us in his hand for sometime now. Dana’s surgery will be most likely set up for the second week in April and this will take her 4 to 5 weeks to recover. Please keep her and us in your prayers we love each and everyone of you out there and we appreciate all that you do as far as prayers and the support.

Hi everybody!!

Its been so long since I have sent out a newsletter. As many of you may know, 2010 was full of surgery,recovery and singing. I am amazed at all the Lord accomplished through S.o.F despite my Crohns. A new project, more places to go and souls saved! What an honor it is to share the Gospel. My 4th surgery of 2010 and hopefully my last was on Dec 29. It has been the hardest and most difficult of them all but God is faithful. Prayers from all my friends,church family,FB people thank you for the prayers have been my strength. Onward we are looking forward to this upcoming year. Last year was a journey but we are on a mission til the Lord calls us home. This is September and Shields of FAITH is busy praise the Lord!!!!! As always though, when u are on the firing line for the Lord, there is always a battle. But we are more than conquerors through Christ.I thank God that we are His children and He is faithful. God will not share His glory with anyone! He , and He alone, deserves all the glory,honor and praise forevermore.

Hi all.....

As many of you know, I had my 3rd surgery this yr on 7/14/2010. It has been a rough go but as I type this , I am stronger . I was dx with Type 2 Diabetes , as it is rampant in my family, not to mention I love to eat! However, I want to be well so Im making some lifestyle changes and praying hard. We are looking fwd to being busy on the Battlefield for our Lord!!! So come out and see us when we are in your area. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Hello everyone Dana is out of the hospital, she seems to be doing well we just want to say thanks for all the prayers. She had got diagnosed with sugar diabetes while there, and is still having problems. We hope that it want require more surgery, but we know that God is in control at all times so please help us pray about this need. God has called us to spread his word, and I know we are doing something right because satan hates the work of Gods people and will try to inflict sickness and pain on us anytime he can

Everyone please pray for Dana she had her surgery Wednesday, the surgery went well but afterwards she got real sick. The Doctor diagnosed her with Diabetes "we speak against that in the name of Jesus". She has been sick since surgery and can not keep anything down. Please pray that the Lord would reach down and touch her. It may be next week till she gets to go home. Also She still has the tear from the fistula but it could heal after 3 months. God Bless Everyone... hope all is well
