Shields of Faith: News/Update

GOD IS FAITHFUL!! We are so excited to see where God is sending Shields of Faith. We would like to thank all the people who have helped us and who have supported the ministry. Without you and God's Hand, we would not be able to do what we do.

We are looking forward to going into the studio in the coming weeks. We are very pleased with our all new soundtracks and especially having some of Catrina's originals on the new upcoming project,"Reflections".

Wow! We have been blown away by God's goodness. We got our income taxes back and poured all of it into the ministry. We got some repair work done on the van ,got a new trailer and are having new tracks built in the studio. Praise the Lord! We made a lot of new friends in 2007 and they are inviting us back to be with them in service again this year and that is an honor. Our third project should be available late April. We are still praying about the title. GOD IS SO GOOD.

Praise the Lord! 2008 is here. The Lord has given us opportunity to reach more souls for HIM! We need to pray harder, work harder, and give GOD more than we ever have before this year!
We have decided to finish our hymnal project and then we will be in the studio in March for a"professional" recording and all new tracks for our all-new songs. We thought we were going to release ,"He's There " to radio but we got some bad advice so we are going in a different direction. We need to sober and vigilant because our adversary the devil goes about seeking whom he may devour. BUT WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH CHRIST. A word of caution to other ministries, be careful. If something sounds TOO good to be true then it probably is.

Hi all,
Sorry this is so late but as everybody knows this is a busy time of the year. We want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Let's share the message with the world," JESUS IS THE GIFT!"
The ministry continues to grow as God is opening up doors. Dana has announced her call to be an evangelist and it is amazing the doors God has been opening for us to go and minister in song and Word!
We are working on our all hymnal project as well as waiting on tracks to record our 3rd project sometime in Jan. Be looking for those.

Hi all- just wanted to let you know some things about Shields of Faith. Josh has written 2 new songs, "Come unto ME" and "It's gonna be a good day". Be listening for those. We will be recording 2 new projects after the first of the year. One will be "Favorite Hymns" and the other will be our 3rd project release untitled at present with some more new songs! God is so good. We have seen doors open and people are calling and already booking us for next year!! Praise the Lord!!

Praise reports: Jayden Newman 4 yr old boy who HAD cancer is now cancer-free. He is having surgery today to remove the "m&m" size tumor with NO CANCER CELLS today.

Shields of FAITH

Hi guys, things have been BUSY for Shields of Faith. Personally as well as the ministry, we are all B.U.S.Y.
Josh is doing well on his job as is Catrina and my job never stops. :) My little nephew Thomas is now a month old. I never thought it possible but he is even cuter now.:) Colton's braces come off on Nov 20 just 9 days AFTER his 10th birthday.Thank you to those of you who were present at our annoversary singing. It was awesome.We will be singing local in the coming weeks twice in Ft Olgethorpe. <1> He Brews CoffeeHouse in the Office Depot shopping center and <2> Buck's BBQ in the old Dairy Queen bldg. Check our schedule for times.Pray for us as we cover you in our prayers.

We can not believe that is already September. The Lord is doing awesome things through Shields of Faith. We have seen souls saved and lives restored! God is so good. We would like to thank those that have given to our ministry without your prayers and support we don't know what we would do. Pray for us as we travel to Kentucky a week from today! Pray that God's Will and His alone be accomplished in us as a group and individuals.My nephew THOMAS MILLER DODD was born Aug 30 ,07 at 5:30 p.m. He weighs 8lbs and 6 oz 20 3/4 in long. Baby and Mom Shandi are both doing well. Keep them in your prayers and be looking for pictures soon. I thank God that they are both well. God is so good to us. I just pray that I am good to HIM in return. We are called,chosen and faithful.Praise HIs Name! Be sure to check out our new sound clip to "He's There" Its gonna be our Radio Single

Truly God is our provider. Catrina would like to thank everyone that has prayed for her need of a vehicle. Sunday night, God provided!!! She is now the proud owner of a 98 Ford Mustang and God gets all the GLORY!! She doesn't owe a penny for it because praise God- He provides!!! Praise His holy name!

It never ceases to amaze us how the Lord works! We had a van that we bought for $500 and were so excited and thankful. The van did not run and we were discouraged not knowing how we were going to travel to all the places that we were/are being invited. BUT GOD, sent the van on the front page our way. He is awesome. Come out to a singing and let us tell you what the Lord has done. We are humbled by His goodness and all we can say is THANK YOU LORD!

We went into the studio and cut our first radio single,"He's There" in Va at Castle Recording Studio. Be praying as we sent this out that it will bless hearts!

Praise the Lord! We are going to NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION. We will be singing in two showcases and at a promoter's breakfast. God is so good! We are humbled by His goodness toward us. This is going to be the week of Sept 10-Sept 14th. Please cover us in your prayers.

Isn't the God we serve more than enough? He never ceases to amaze us!!! We are having more and more bookings come in almost everyday. We are so excited as we see the doors that God is opening!! We love the Lord and want only His Will in our lives. When you pray for us please just pray that we will be in HIS WILL no matter what.
